The vibrant diversity of San Francisco have opened my eyes to new opportunities and cultural experiences. It is a city that embraces change and celebrates individuality, which has allowed me to feel a sense of belonging despite being far away from my homeland. Yet, my heart yearns for the familiar sights, sounds, and flavors of Tampin. Balancing the influences of both places has shaped my identity.

“Self: I Feared” 30” by 40”. Oil on Canvas.

The painting is both a captivating and haunting exploration of the depths of human emotions. Through a masterful blend of colors and strokes, I portray the complexities and inner turmoil that stems from fear.
This painting employs a contrast between bold, harsh brushstrokes and soft, delicate hues to convey the emotional intensity of the painting. Shades of deep blues and purples dominate the palette, evoking feelings of unease and vulnerability. The sparing use of warmer tones suggests the possibility of solace and bravery amidst the turmoil.
